How to check a figure

Find the product in the list or the comparison table, and note the field and the read date, 2026-10-16.
Open the vendor URL linked in that section, and read the same field on the same page.
If the vendor page shows a different value, the page is the reference. Note the URL, the field and the date you read it.

How a correction is made

A figure changes only when the vendor's own page shows a different value on the date it is read. The change is made on the page that carries it, and it is recorded as a dated entry in the corrections log on the about page. The method page states the method version in effect.

What counts as a source

Sources are the vendor's own pricing, feature and terms pages, and the rembg project's README. Third-party reviews, bake-off percentages and press mentions are not used, so a reader does not need to check them.
